RE: APPROVE PERMIT APPLICATION AND REPORT OF CHANGES TO CHANGE RINN
VALLEY, LLLP, FROM OLE HICKORY SMOKEHOUSE AND TAVERN TO RINN
VALLEY RESTAURANT AND TAVERN, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Rinn Valley, LLLP, dba Ole Hickory Smokehouse and Tavern, holder of a
Hotel and Restaurant (County) Liquor License in Weld County, Colorado, has presented the
Board with a Permit Application and Report of Changes Form for a Change of Trade Name, and
WHEREAS, the change in said name would be from Ole Hickory Smokehouse and Tavern
to Rinn Valley Restaurant and Tavern, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said change in trade
name.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Permit Application and Report of Changes Form for a Change of Trade
Name from Ole Hickory Smokehouse and Tavern to Rinn Valley Restaurant and Tavern, be, and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said Permit Application and Report of Changes Form and license.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 6th day of August, A.D., 2018.

Please note: on the application, the applicant indicated their current trade name is "Ole Hickory
Smokehouse and Sports Tavern." It looks like that is the most recent trade name registered with
the Colorado Secretary of State, but the trade name was never updated in our or LED's files. All
renewal applications have reflected "Ole Hickory Smokehouse and Tavern." This current
application should bring the applicant's trade name up to date so both the Secretary of State and
LED's files are the same.
