HomeMy WebLinkAbout20181389.tiffCENTRAL WELD COUNTY WATER DISTRICT July 28, 2017 Ark DeJager Kersey, CO 80644 RE: Cost of Water Service — 23655 County Road 55 Dear Mr. DeJager, This letter is in response to your request for water service to serve the following property described as follows: 8821 NE4 4 4 64 EXC OG&M Parcel 105304000014 Submitted herewith is the cost for one 4" tap located in SW corner of County Road 50 & 55: 4" Tap Fee — Total Due 9,000,000 gal annual allotment Surcharge: S1 per thousand gallons for usage over allotment $ 783,000.00 Included in this cost of a 4" tap is 30 shares of CBT water. These shares belong to the 4" tap that they will be assigned to per the Tap Fee Agreement. They cannot be sold separately from the tap. Although a 4" tap is being purchased, the infrastructure in that area will only support the demand that a 2" tap can supply. A 2" tap will be installed but the allotment for a 4" tap will be issued. A storage tank will be needed on the property to lower peak demands on the system thus allowing the 2" tap to provide the usage demands. The District cannot always plan for outages caused by unforeseen circumstances and the storage tank will also help should an extended outage ever occur. Please call the office to set up an appointment to sign our required documents. Upon receipt of the above "Total Due" for desired tap size and the appropriate documentation being signed in the District's office by all deed holders, the District will prepare a work order for the installation of the meter set. The cost estimate and availability of service is good until February 1, 2018 . Please note that it is your resvonsihiliy to contact Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District al 81M-369-7246 for petitioning cimfrnration into the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, Central Weld cannot issue a tayntil all requirements are satisfied This is in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. A water tap installation is for a specific parcel of property and a customer will not be permitted to extend a service line from one parcel or property to another parcel to provide additional water service. It is your responsibility to confirm with your local Fire Protection Authority if fire flow water capacity is required for your project. The above cost is for a water service tap only and does not reflect fire flow water capacity. The District will not notify, by separate letter, any prospective landowners or land purchasers of tap fee increases. Surcharge amount is subject to change at the discretion of the Board of Directors. If you have any questions, please contact this office.
