RE: APPROVE REASSIGNMENT, APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO
PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and the terms for
certain positions on the Planning Commission will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reassign
Tom Cope from the At -Large representative to the Advisory Board District 3 representative, to
replace Terry Cross, with a term to expire July 31, 2019, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that David Stahl, be appointed as an Advisory
Board District 5 representative, to replace Jordan Jemiola, with a term to expire July 31, 2021,
and that Elijah Hatch be appointed as an At -Large representative, with a term to expire July 31,
2021, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gene Stille be reappointed to the Planning
Commission, with a term to expire July 31, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tom Cope be, and hereby is, reassigned, that David Stahl and Elijah Hatch
be appointed, and that Gene Stille be reappointed to the Planning Commission, all with terms to
expire as stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of July, A.D., 2018.
