NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered that the road between Sections 12 and 7, 13 and 18, 24 and 19, Township 7, Range 60 and 61 West, be and hereby is declared vacated, abandoned and closed. We have secured 38 signers 14 of which are title holders . The people along and in the two nile radius of the County line are all anxious that this road be opened and put in a apssiable condition. These people are all tax payers and pay their road tax every year the same however goes in to fix up the automobile highways and such roads , and consequently they receive little or no benefit from their taxes. Now it is our beleif that we are entitle to recognition. This country is building up rappidly and the people are here to stay and this road question is the one drawback.The d off an in fair condition, but pfor�ithe arest d rofbitt,siteisn �Youtilesofis nelaiquestion.i I,000 pounds hake a heavy load for the best of teams and one does not know whether he be in Weld od Morgan county when he is traveling it. It is just laid across the prarie and the fences run in all directions. This matter has been taken up before but has always fall en through, but with your assistance we hope to fix it up this tine . for is our understanding that we have to deposit#I5 for viewing expenses. Now we had a petition taken up on the Morgan side and we send them the money, understanding that the two 3odies of Commissioners would consolidate and send a joint Committee to view the said proposed road.We have upon sending the Money to the ?_organ Commissioners , notified them that we are sending this petition to you me . It is our desire that this matter be taken up with the Commissioners at their next meeting , and that when the committee 1e appointed that you will notify us so that we will be able to .beet them and explain our wants.
