WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statutes and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colo- rado, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance, upon reviewing the RS-9 Reports filed with the Office of Revenue Sharing, has discovered that Weld County has not maximized the reporting of tax efforts, and WHEREAS, the tax effort, together with the per capita income, has a direct influence of the amount of Revenue Sharing that Weld County is entitled to, and WHEREAS, the Revenue Sharing Act, as amended, provides that a recipient government may challenge its status within one year after the end of the entitlement period through the data improvement program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the revised RS-9 Revenue Sharing Report for 1976 and 1977, prepared by the Director of Finance are hereby authorized to be signed by the Chairman of the Board and to be submitted to the Office of Revenue Sharing by the Director of Finance. The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of May, A.D. , 1979.
