RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Advisory Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint Lisa
Taylor as a Private Sector Representative, with a term to expire December 1, 2018, to replace
Ryan Gray, who is now unable to serve, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Meredith Munoz and Rebecca Lorenz be
appointed as Private Sector Representatives; that Stephanie Gausch be appointed to said board
as a Low -Income Representative; and that Michael Matthews be appointed to said board as an
Elected Official Designee, all with terms to expire December 31, 2019, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Lisa Taylor, Meredith Munoz, Rebecca Lorenz, Stephanie Gausch, and
Michael Matthews, be, and hereby are, appointed to the Human Services Advisory Commission,
with terms to expire as stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of February, A.D., 2018.
