RE: ABATEMENT OF TAXES - I-SEVENTY SIX MOTEL & CAFE, c/o ALEJANDRO
C. MARTINEZ, BOX 28, ROGGEN, COLORADO 80652.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 39-1-113 ,
1973 , as amended, a hearing was held on the 14th day of March,
1977 on the petition of the I-Seventy Six Motel & Cafe, for
abatement of taxes on certain furniture and fixtures regarding
#24647 Personal Property Taxes for the reason that the cost of
the furniture and fixtures was reported at $120 ,000. 00. Actually,
the cost of the furniture and fixtures was $28 ,475. 00 , the re-
mainder of which was good will and should not have been reported
in with the cost of furniture and fixtures, and
WHEREAS, at such hearing, H. H. Hansen, Weld County Assessor
was present, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, has considered the petition and allowed an abatement on
the total sum of $24,990. 00 against the assessed valuation of
said property for 1976 and has further abated the total sum of
$1,503. 90 from the original tax levied against said property
for the year 1976 , and
WHEREAS, said petition was submitted to the Property Tax
Administrator of the State of Colorado, R. E. Carper, who re-
viewed said petition and approved the action of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, said approval
being made on the 18th day of March, 1977 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners , Weld County, Colorado, that the petition for
abatement on taxes on certain furniture and fixtures located
at the I-Seventy Six Motel and Cafe, c/o Alejandro C. Martinez ,
Box 28 , Roggen, Colorado 80652 , be and hereby is allowed to the
extent as set forth in this Resolution.

made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th
