RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE RELEASE OF LIEN FOR WEED CONTROL ENFORCEMENT LIEN - HOLLY CLIFFORD WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution #2017-3568 on October 16, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the Certification of a Weed Enforcement Lien against Holly Clifford, in the amount of $1,120.00, which was recorded with Weld County Clerk and Recorder on November 1, 2017 at Reception No.4348850, constituting a lien against said property described as Parcel No.147336000043 located in Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 65 West in the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has paid the entire amount of said lien, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to release the above mentioned lien. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the above referenced Weed Control Enforcement Lien against Holly Clifford, be, and hereby is, declared to be satisfied in full and hereby released from said property. Upon following our process to contact the landowner and not receiving compliance with the County Code and State Law, a mowing enforcement was conducted on the property. When the bill was not paid, a lien was requested from the Board of County Commissioners on October 16, 2017 at which time it was granted. The landowner has since paid the noxious weed mowing enforcement lien in January 2018. Therefore, the lien on the following property must be officially released by the Board of County Commissioners.
