Home My WebLink About20180195.tiffRESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZE EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE COVERING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO - S35, T7N, R67W WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Weld County is the owner of vast mineral lands located in Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Extraction Oil and Gas, Inc., submitted a request to extend the lease of 0.550964 net mineral acres, more or less, described to -wit: Section 35, Township 7 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, as further described in Exhibit A to said lease. WHEREAS, Weld County desires to approve the request submitted by Extraction Oil and Gas, Inc., to extend the lease on the above -described mineral acreage for $400.00 per net mineral acre, for a total sum of $220.39, which is to run for a period of six (6) months, commencing at twelve o'clock noon on February 11, 2018, and ending at twelve o'clock noon on August 11, 2018.
