RE: APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute, and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Weld County, Colorado has acquired and is the
owner of the following described real properties, duly recorded
in the records of the County Clerk and Recorder of the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, as follows, to-wit:

WHEREAS, said properties have been duly advertised for sale at
public auction held on the 10th day of August, 1977 , at the hour of
2 : 00 P.M. , in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners,
excepting therefrom the reservations in the United States Patent
and existing reservoir sites and irrigation ditches, if any; existing
rights-of-way for public highways and roads and any and all existing
easements of rights-of-way, however evidenced or acquired, and

subject to existing leases; and excepting therefrom all oil, gas,
and other minerals herein or thereunder, together with the right
of prospect for and removal of same; and all County owned
structures, if any, on said property and all property used for
County purposes, and
WHEREAS, Artis J. Hayes, Box 98, Grover, Colorado 80729 , bid
One Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars ($1, 849 . 00) as the
purchase price for said properties and being the highest and best
bidder, said property was sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that June K. Steinmark,
Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colo-
rado, be and hereby is, constituted and appointed an Agent for
Weld County, Colorado, and is hereby ordered to convey, without cov-
enants of warranty, to Artis J. Hayes the aforementioned properties ,
as above described, excepting therefrom the reservations in favor
of the Union Pacific Railroad Company; and excepting therefrom the
reservations in the United States Patent and existing reservoir
sites and irrigation ditches, if any; existing easements or rights-
of-way, however evidenced or acquired, and subject to existing
leases; and excepting therefrom oil, gas, and other minerals there-
in or thereunder together with the right to prospect for and remove
the same; and all County owned structures , if any, on said property,
and all property used for County purposes on said property, if
any, and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that as to such conveyance, June K.
Steinmark, is authorized to affix the seal of Weld County and said
conveyance shall have the effect to transfer to said Artis J.
Hayes all right and interest which Weld County has in and to the
above described properties, except subject to all agreements, re-
strictions, reservations of record, and existing easements to which
are referred. Weld County does not warrant title.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22nd day of
August, A.D. , 1977.
