HomeMy WebLinkAbout770829.tiff Ca n.of ' , +.4, RESOLUTION RE: ABATEMENT OF TAXES - CHEVRON OIL CO. - WESTERN DIVISION PROPERTY TAX AND INSURANCE P.O. BOX 599 , DENVER, COLORADO 80201. WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 39-1-113, 1973, as amended, a hearing was held on January 31, 1977, on the petition of Chevron Oil Company for abatement of taxes on certain equipment located on the following described real estate, to-wit: The East Half (Eli) of Section 1 in Township 7 North of Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. and the Southeast Quarter (SEa) of Section 36 in Township 8 of Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , all in Weld County, Colorado, for the reason that said equipment was double assessed due to a clerical error, and WHEREAS, at such hearing, H. H. Hansen, Weld County Assessor was present, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, considered the petition and allowed an abatement of $15, 880 .00 against the orginial assessement of $48,020. 00 , leaving a total assessed value of $32, 140 . 00, and in said abatement, abated the sum of $903. 89 of the orginial tax, which totaled $2733. 30 leaving a total tax for 1976 on said property in the total sum of $1, 829. 41. WHEREAS, said petition was submitted to the property tax administrator of the State of Colorado, R. E. Carper, who re- viewed said petition and approved the action of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, said approval being made of the 4th day of February, 1977. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the petition for abatement on taxes on certain equipment located on the above described real estate for and on behalf of Chevron Oil Company, be and hereby is allowed to the extent as set forth in this resolution. The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 31st day of January, A.D. , 1977.
