RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WELD FAITH
PARTNERSHIP COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld Faith Partnership Council, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Jeff Sloan to said board to replace Robert Thomas as a representative, with a term to expire
November 1, 2021, and to appoint Jildi Gentry to replace Brian Fowler, as a representative, with
a term to expire November 1, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the Board also desires to reappoint Ryan Dougherty and Joe Soto to said
board, both with terms to expire November 1, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed and
reappointed to the Weld Faith Partnership Council, with their respective terms to expire as
described above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of October, A.D., 2018.
