RE: 2017-18 Weld County Compass Program Agreement
Dear Ms. Blough,
The Weld County Department of Human Services received an email from you on December 5, 2017,
indicating that the St. Vrain Valley School District had decided to leave its Compass Program
position vacant after several attempts to fill the position. As the position has remained unfilled since
the inception of the agreement in June 2017, and the District is electing to not fill it for the 2017-18
school year, Weld County has cancelled the agreement effective November 30, 2017. It is our
understanding that the school district is working with Weld County Department of Human Services
to reimburse the County for amounts automatically paid out under the agreement.
You were informally notified of this cancellation via email correspondence from Karin Crandall,
Outreach Manager, on January 23, 2018. Please consider this letter formal notification of
termination of the agreement.
We sincerely thank you for your participation in the Compass Program.
