RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR18-0009, FOR A KENNEL FACILITY (FOR UP TO 17 DOGS AND 2 CATS) IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - LESLIE ANNE WINDYKA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 30th day of
May, 2018, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Leslie Anne Windyka, 25621 CR 54.25, Kersey, CO 80644, for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR18-0009, for a Kennel Facility (for up
to 17 dogs and 2 cats) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate,
to -wit:
Lot A of Recorded Exemption, RE -2174; being part
of the N1/2 SE1/4 of Section 20, Township 5 North,
Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to June 20, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., to allow the
applicant to meet the 30 -day mineral notification requirement and present to the Planning
Commission on June 5, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to June 20, 2018,
at 10:00 a.m.
