RE: APPROVAL OF RELOCATION OF VETERANS ' OFFICE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the assigned office space in the Centennial Com-
plex is inadequate to meet the needs of the Veterans ' Office,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners approved a
temporary location of the Veterans ' Office in the County Court-
house for a period of six (6) months pending the location of
new space, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance, Director of Social Ser-
vices and Veterans ' Officer have reported to the Board that
permanent space is available in the Walton Building that will
accommodate the Veterans ' Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the relocation of the
Veterans ' Office to the first floor of the Walton Building is
hereby approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Veterans ' Officer and
Superintendent of Building and Grounds will arrange to relocate
the Veterans ' Office as soon as possible, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Veterans ' Officer and the
Director of Communications are hereby directed to arrange for
the transfer of telephone service for the Veterans ' Office to
the new location, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Veterans ' Officer is hereby
directed to make the necessary arrangements to publicize the
relocation of his office at the current location and any other
public media available at no cost.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
July, A.D. , 1979 .
