WHEREAS, Caitlyn Olson, a Senior at Frontier Academy, took part in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Voice of Democracy
Scholarship Competition; and.
WHEREAS, Caitlyn Olson submitted her essay American History: Our Hope for the Future and took first place in the Weld County District
competition and also first place in the state of Colorado competition, which qualified her to attend and compete at the National competition in
Washington D.C.; and
WHEREAS, Caitlyn Olson took fifth place at the National competition and received a total of three scholarships totaling $6,500 towards her
