OBJECTIONS TO REVISED SITE PLAN FOR ICON DAIRY AT CR 50 AND CR 55, KERSEY CO
Follow Up Flag: Follow up
Flag Status: Flagged
I AM WRITING THIS LETTER TO EXPRESS MY OBJECTIONS AND CONCERNS WITH THE REVISED SITE PLAN FOR
THE ICON DAIRY LOCATED IN KERSEY CO AT CR 50 AND CR 55. SOME OF MY CONCERNS WOULD BE WITH THE
STORAGE POND BEING LESS THAN 75 FEET FROM MY RESIDENCE. THE MAIN CONCERN I WOULD HAVE
WOULD BE THE POSSIBLE PROPERTY VALUE IMPLICATIONS IT COULD HAVE AGAINST MY RESIDENCE. I ALSO
AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE ODOR FROM THE POND AND IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THE POND DOES
OVERFLOW DUE TO NATURAL OR HUMAN CAUSED EVENTS THERE WOULD BE A POSIBILTY OF DAMAGE TO
MY RESIDENCE. BUT MY MAIN CONCERN IS THE PROPERTY VALVE. I REVIEWD THE ORIGINAL SITE PLAN THAT
WAS ON WELD COUNTIES WEBSITE AND HAD NO MAJOR CONCERNS WITH THE ORIGINAL DESIGN FOR THE
FACILITY AS IT SHOWED THE STORAGE POND WAS ABOUT 300 FEET FROM CR 50. THESE ARE THE CONCERNS I
HAVE ABOUT THE NEW REVISED SITE PLAN.
SINCERLY
