RESOLUTION RE: ESTABLISHING THE NEIGHBORHOOD TO BE SERVED, DESIGNATING A COMMISSIONER TO MAKE ON-SITE INSPECTION AND SETTING THE HEARING DATE CONCERNING THE APPLICATION OF LD CROW VALLEY LIQUORS, LLC, DBA CROW VALLEY LIQUORS, FOR THE TRANSFER OF A RETAIL LIQUOR STORE (COUNTY) LICENSE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners approved a renewal Retail Liquor Store (County) License for Crow Valley Liquors, LLC, dba Crow Valley Liquors, on April 9, 2018, and WHEREAS, the premises of Crow Valley Liquors, LLC, dba Crow Valley Liquors, 37937 State Highway 14, Briggsdale, Colorado 80611, have been leased to LD Crow Valley Liquors, LLC, dba Crow Valley Liquors, who now seeks to obtain a transfer of the liquor license, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, at a public meeting on the 3rd day of December, 2018, pursuant to C.R.S. §44-3-303(1)(c)(i), determined that substantial changes appear to have been made to the facility since granting a liquor license to Crow Valley Liquors, LLC, dba Crow Valley Liquors, therefore required review of the standard in 1 CCR 203-2, Rule 47-302, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, heard evidence to assist said Board in establishing the neighborhood to be served, designating the Commissioner to make the on-site inspection, and setting the hearing date concerning the application of LD Crow Valley Liquors, LLC, dba Crow Valley Liquors, 37937 State Highway 14, Briggsdale, Colorado 80611, for a Retail Liquor Store (County) License, and WHEREAS, the Board did determine that the following described area should comprise the neighborhood to be served concerning said application, to-wit: All of Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, Township 8 North, and Sections 28, 29, and 30, Township 7 North, all in Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board further determined that Commissioner Freeman should be designated to make the on-site inspection concerning said application, and cc:ca.(5C), O.PP L 2018-3852 ia�te�i8 LC0004 SET HEARING FOR A RETAIL LIQUORE STORE (COUNTY) LICENSE - LD CROW VALLEY LIQUORS, LLC, DBA CROW VALLEY LIQUORS PAGE 2 WHEREAS, the Board further determined that the hearing to consider said application shall be scheduled for January 9, 2019, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the above described area be, and hereby is, established as the neighborhood to be served concerning the application of LD Crow Valley Liquors, LLC, dba Crow Valley Liquors, for a Retail Liquor Store (County) License.
