RE: APPOINTMENT OF BETHANY FORD AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Kimberly Dewey is no longer employed with the Weld County Clerk to the
Board, therefore, a need exists to appoint another Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the
desire of the Board to appoint Bethany Ford as Deputy Clerk to the Board and to discontinue the
appointment of Kimberly Dewey.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Bethany Ford be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the Board,
effective November 9, 2018.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 19th day of November, A.D., 2018.
