RE: APPROVAL OF THE CONSERVATION TRUST FUND EXPENDITURES TO THE TOWN OF
SEVERANCE, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado,
and
WHEREAS, following the submission of an application by the Town of
Severance for assistance in the project known as improvements to town grounds
in the town of Severance, Weld County has extended to the Town of Severance,
a grant from Conservation Trust Funds in the amount of $2,500.00, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Severance has informed the Board of County Commis-
sioners that the town does not have available funds to pay for supplies or
services until the County reimburses the town for project costs , and
WHEREAS, the terms agreed upon are as follows:
A. The Town of Severance will obtain at least three bids on all
project costs and accept the low bid unless authorized by Board
resolution to do otherwise.
B. Following completion of the project, the Town of Severance must
report to Weld County its acceptance of the materials and project.
C. Such report shall include an accounting of actual expenses for
the project and a request for direct payment of a specific dollar
amount.
D. Upon receipt of this report and request for direct payment,
accompanied by an original invoice, the County shall determine the
amount of reimbursement and will make a single payment to the
provider for the Town of Severance.
WHEREAS, it has been further agreed that Weld County shall reimburse
the Town of Severance during the calendar year 1979. It is therefore under-
stood and agreed that the project should be completed and the request for
reimbursement forwarded no later than December 1 , 1979, and
WHEREAS, upon consideration of the aforementioned request from the
Town of Severance, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interest of Weld County to approve the same in an amount not
to exceed $2,500.00 to Severance through said Conservation Trust Fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that said Board does hereby approve the Conservation Trust Fund expenditures
to the Town of Severance, Weld County, Colorado, as more fully set forth
above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 28th day of March, A.D. , 1979.
