Weld County Board of Commissioners
I am a long-time resident of Weld County, having resided in the Southern part of the County for 14 years and
currently residing in West Greeley. At the current time, I also serve as President of the South East Weld Chamber
of Commerce, and a Board Member of both the Weld Food Band and the Union Colony Civic Center.
I understand that some in our Country have voiced concern over the proposed site of Cureton Midstream for their
Gas Plant. I have become keenly aware many aspects of Cureton Midstream, including their expertise in the
Midstream Energy sector, their reliability as a team and their respect for the people who work there and the
people they serve. I am also aware of how this impacts the strong energy independence of our nation, our county,
our local economies, local business and residential communities. This is a letter of support for your APPROVAL
decision
I am one of hundreds of citizens who drive down country roads and see the strong presence of Oil and Gas, a much
needed industry, and more than that, the many opportunities it offers to the citizens of Weld County and the
support it brings to local businesses.
With Cureton Midstream's proposal for a plant site in the South Eastern part of Weld County near the Town of
Keenesburg, they are diligently meeting and exceeding the needs which are required, including a CDPHE Air Permit
and, of course, awaiting the approval of the Weld County Board of Commissioners.
I urge you to move forward on the decision to APPROVE the request by Cureton Midstream for construction of their
Gas Plant.
I look forward to hearing of your decision.
Respectfully Submitted,
Perry Wm. Bell, President
South East Weld Chamber of Commerce
