RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENTS PERMIT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - BERTHOUD LOCAL WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Berthoud Local presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, an application for a Special Events Permit for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, subject to the rules and regulations found in Article 47, Title 12, C.R.S., and WHEREAS, said applicant has paid the sum of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) to Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to the laws providing therefore in payment for a County Retail Permit for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, subject to the rules and regulations found in Article 47, Title 12, C.R.S., for an event scheduled for one day only on September 22, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., outside the corporate limits of any town or city in the County of Weld at the location described as follows: 19417 County Road 3, Berthoud, Colorado 80513; being further described as Lot A of Recorded Exemption, RE -1341; being part of the NE1/4 SE1/4 of Section 30, Township 4, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, said applicant has also paid the sum of TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) to the Colorado Department of Revenue and has exhibited a State Special Events Permit for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, subject to the rules and regulations found in Article 47, Title 12, C.R.S. Berthoud Local is an umbrella organization that fosters local food -focused projects within the town of Berthoud and the adjacent areas of the unincorporated counties of Larimer, Boulder and Weld. Berthoud Local supports the local food movement by working to improve access to local food, educating about sustainable agricultural practices, encourages local food production and provides opportunities for community involvement. Berthoud Local organizes and manages the Farmers Market held on Saturdays late June through September in Fickel Park, Berthoud CO.
