Berthoud Local is an umbrella organization that fosters local food -focused projects within the town of Berthoud and the adjacent areas of the unincorporated counties of Larimer, Boulder and Weld. Berthoud Local supports the local food movement by working to improve access to local food, educating about sustainable agricultural practices, encourages local food production and provides opportunities for community involvement. Berthoud Local organizes and manages the Farmers Market held on Saturdays late June through September in Fickel Park, Berthoud CO. Berthoud Local sponsors a community garden located in Pioneer Park in Berthoud, CO that provides opportunities for community members to learn how to garden.
