RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER STEVE MORENO TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Steve Moreno has been assigned to Coordinate the
Department of Finance and Administration, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Moreno be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (alternate member)
• E-470 Public Highway Authority (alternate member)
• Greeley -Weld Airport Authority (term to expire 12/31/2020)
• Local Emergency Planning Committee
• Upstate Colorado Economic Development Board
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Moreno to said
boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Steve Moreno be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his term on each board to expire on December 31, 2018.
