Executive Director 363 Jefferson, Ft. Collins, CO 80521 October 25, 1976 Weld County Commissioners Centennial Building Greeley, CO 80631 Dear Commissioners: An Emergency Medical Services (EMS) planning and implementation group for Larimer and Weld Counties was first convened by the North Central Compre- hensive Health Planning Association, Inc. on November 13, 1973. Since that time, planning group members have participated in the development of an EMS plan and have functioned as an advisory council for the realization of that plan. We are now beginning the second year of a four year implementation program which will result in the establishment of an advanced life support EMS System for the two county area. As a part of that program, we are expanding the membership of the EMS Council to obtain representation from all EMS System participants. The name of Elmer "Bud" Reynolds has been suggested to represent public safety agency communications on the Region II Emergency Medical Services Council. This Council will hold regular monthly meetings, on weekday evenings at rotating locations in the two county area. It is expected that persons who agree to serve will have time available to attend these regular meetings, an occasional special meeting, and to represent Public Safety Agency Communications interests. The first meeting of this expanded Council is to be held on November 15, 1976. We request that Elmer Reynolds, Director of Weld County Communications Division, be designated as a representative to the Region II EMS Council. Sincerely, . i Norm Holt Region II EMS Coordinator NH/rz Hello
