Home My WebLink About20182887.tiffSTOCK ASSIGNMENT FOR VALUE RECEIVED, the COUNTY OF WELD, a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld ("Weld County") hereby sells, assigns and transfers unto the Ground Water Management Subdistrict of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District ("GMS") by and through its Water Activity Enterprise all its right, title and interest in and to Three and Three -Fourths (3.75) shares of the Rural Ditch Company represented by Certificate Nos. 317 (1 share), 330 (1 share), 418 (1.5 shares), and 419 (0.25 share) of said company. SUBJECT TO the rights of Weld County under those certain Class C Water Allotment Contracts No. 1177 and No. 1178 issued by GMS to Weld County, which shall be noted on the new certificate. Weld County hereby authorizes and empowers the secretary of said company to cancel said certificate and issue a new certificate or certificates to effectuate this transfer on the books of the company. See attached document, the signatures are on pages 3, 4, and 5. This document and the Right of Way Agreement (also attached) are required to be recorded. I know that Randy was given a packet which included the original stock certificates but I cannot confirm whether the Stock Assignment was included in that packet. ! don't know exactly when the assignment would have been on the agenda, but it would have probably been in the month of June as that is when Bruce put together the language for it. Bruce — can you recall it the Stock Assignment went with the County following the closing? In completing the transfer and issue of the new stock certificate to Ground Water Management, I can't locate the original Assignment. I really need the original for the Ditch Company records and file. Would there have been a contract recorded or Deed that describes the stock transferred I might be able to get a copy? I have asked Randy Ray at Central if he perhaps has that original assignment; however, unfortunately, he indicates no. Anything that you could help provide would be greatly appreciated.
