RE: RESCIND RESOLUTION DATED FEBRUARY 14 , 1979 CONCERNING APPROVAL
OF THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
AND THE FORT LUPTON ANIMAL SHELTER AS A SECONDARY RECIPIENT OF
REVENUE SHARING FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on February 14, 1979, the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado adopted a resolution approving a
Memorandum of Agreement between Weld County and the Fort Lupton
Animal Shelter as a secondary recipient of Revenue Sharing Funds ,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been informed
that the Fort Lupton Animal Shelter no longer wishes to receive
said Revenue Sharing Funds, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to rescind said Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the resolution dated
February 14, 1979 approving the Memorandum of Agreement between
Weld County and the Fort Lupton Animal Shelter as a secondary
recipient of Revenue Sharing Funds be , and hereby is , rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
March, A.D. , 1979.
