DENVER-GREELEY VALLEY IRRIGATION DISTRICT

Order upon petition of The Northern Bank and Trust. Company, Trustee
Came before the Board, The Norther Bank And Trust Company, as Trustee, and presented and
filed a petition to the Board regarding the 1919 levy of the Denver—Greeley Valley Irrigation
District. And the Board having thoroughly discussed and considered said petition and being suf-
ficiently/advised thereon, the following motion was made by Commissioner Rowe, seconded by Comm-
issioner Peters, put to question and unanimously carried, to-wit:
WHEREAS,. a 00144 40n has bee* preesented-to., the,Board'.of,County Commissioners of Weld. ,County,v
Colorado by The Northern Bank and Trust Company, as Trustee, setting forth that the rates of levy
fixed by said Board on the 15th day of November, 1919 for the purpose of raising the money required
to pay the interest and installment of principal becoming due in 1920, on the bonds of the Denver-
Greeley Valley Irrigation District were erroneous .in certain respect and
WHEREAS, said Board finds that the allegations of said petition are true;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it
RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of said Weld County that the taxes so levied,
insofar as they are in exoess of 360 mills on the dollar of valuation for bond interest taxes and
insofar as they are in excess of 310 mills on the dollar of valuation for bond principal tax, be
and the same are hereby cancelled and abated;
Be it further
RESOLVED, that the Treasurer of said Weld County be and he is hereby directed to receive
360 mills on the dollar of valuation, in oash or interest coupons due or to become due in 1920, in

full payment of said bond interest tax on any tract or tracts of land in said District, and 310
mills on the dollar of valuation in cash or bonds of said District maturing in 192O, in full pay-
ment of said bond principal tax on any tract or tracts of land in said District, and in oase said
taxes are paid on or before the 1st day of Deoember A. D. 1920, said Treasurer is directed to
remit all interest and penalties on said taxes.
Be it further
RESOLVED, that in case of any payments of said taxes heretofore made, or which shall
hereafter be made, this Board shall issue a rebate warrant or warrants for the amount of said taxes
and any interest or penalties in excess of said raltes of 360 mills and 310 mills respectively.
Be it further
RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forthwith certified to the Board of County Comm—
issioners of Adams County and the Treasurer of said Adams County.

order of the Board entered herein on November 3rd, 1920, was considered and the following action
taken, to-wit:
RESOLVED, that the petition of The Northern Bank and Trust Company, as trustee, or a re-
bate of $30424.40 taxes payed by it for Denver-Greeley Valley Irrigation District Bond Taxes in
excess of_ the rates fixed by this Board on the third day of November 1920, be and same is
hereby granted and that a rebate warrant do issue for said amount.

HENRYLYN IRRIGATION DISTRICT TAXES
THAT WHEREAS, it has been certified to this Board by the Board of Directors of the Henrylyn 2vc
Irrigation District, that the lands hereinafter described belonging to the persons whose names
are set opposite the following descriptions, cannot be benefited by the irrigation works of said
district, because of some natural condition and on that account have been by due and proper pro-
ceedings as by statute provided, excluded from the said Heprylyn Irrigation District, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of said district have filed with the County Commissioners
certified copies of resolutions passed by said board, excluding the lands hereinafter desoribed and
by slid resolutions have requested that the taxes now due for irrigation district purposes be
abated;
NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with the resolutions of the Board of Directors of the
Henrylyn Irrigation District, be it hereby resolved that the Treasurer of Weld County, Colorado,
be and he is hereby authorized to cancel all Henrylyn Irrigation District taxes assessed and now
standing against the following described lands, which lands are owned by or assessed to the persons
whose names appear immediately preoeeding the several descriptions of lands released from
taxation, to-wit:

agreement dated June 15th, 1916, between the Henrylyn Bondholders company, the Henrylyn Irrigation
District and others) and the Board of Directors of the Henrylyn Irrigation District to be relieved
from taxes for the bond interest, in accordance w i th paragraph XIII of said contract providing
for the ultinate exclusion of certain lands now in said district, and for the present relief of
said lands from the taxes for bond interest.
