There were 51 people in the audience. Charter Commission members present were: At Large: John Chuck Carlson District #1: District #2: District #3: Glenn K. Billings Glen R. Anderson Philip G. Bowles Nancy C. Clark J. L. Johnson Donald E. Altergott W. E. Rosenoff John T. Martin Harold Fahrenburch Ruben Schissler Questions and comments from the audience: June Lewis -- Erie --- Why not have 5 Commissioner districts? Peg Carlson -- Fort Lupton --- How are you going to assure that boards are broadly representative? Housing Authority should be under the Department of Planning Services. • Ron Heitman -- Fort Lupton --- What is wrong with the type of government we now have? How much will this more responsive government cost us? How did you arrive at the division of the departments? How can you make the County Council nonpartisan? What type of people will run for the County Council? John Grieve -- Fort Lupton --- Questioned terms on commissioners and boards -- should be left up to the people. Elton Miller -- Fort Lupton --- We should be able to vote on all of the commissioners. Ernest Alvarado -- Fort Lupton --- Preferred 5 Commissioners. Corky Colgrove -- Fort Lupton --- County Council will not be nonpartisan. Cleon Roberts -- Fort Lupton --- Difficult to run for County Council if you are not well known and financially well off. Victor Jacobucci -- Brighton --- There will never be enough Commissioners to cure the ills of the county. County Council will be susceptible to law suits. Hello
