USR for 20,000 head feedlot is a huge feedlot. Our property is about 500 ft from this site, and our home is about 1000 ft. There are quite a few homes within 600 ft to 1500 ft of this proposal. Our neighborhood has big concerns, being sandwiched between this proposal of 20,000 head feedlot and the Heartland BioGas Facility, in such a small area will have a definite impact on odors and flies. The flies have already beer a problem due to the Heartland eland BioGas facility! although it is not a full operation at this time, it is uncertain about how it will turn out, and the smell from that was unbearable: Not only living with the odors and flies, it will be devaluing our properties. Please motley us with the public hearing dates and times.
