80634. Community Power Group ("CPG") is proposing to construct a small-scale solar facility on
less than 1 acre of land in the Agricultural (A) zone district. This facility will be located on property
owned by Anne Backstrom and CPG has an agreement with Anne Backstrom regarding the
facility. The solar farm will be fenced off and will utilize less than 1 acre on the southeast corner
of the property. This development is occurring on a parcel of land in which the above named
party may have a mineral ownership or lease.
Specifically, the proposed additions are located on parcel ID 1211-09-2-00-024, located in Section
9, Township 3N, Range 66W. A vicinity map is located below. CPG is pursuing approval to amend
USR 15-0019 to include a small-scale solar facility and notification to the mineral owners is
required by Colorado State Law.
