RESOLUTION 207
RE: SALARIES OF WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, Section 13-8(1) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter states that the Weld
County Council shall set the salaries of all elected officials; and furthermore, in the case of County
Commissioners, the Charter provides for a delay in the effective date of said salary changes so as to
provide for equal compensation of all Commissioners at all times; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has, by a majority vote, agreed that the salaries of the
Weld County Commissioners should bb as follows:
$105,000 for the year 2019
$105,000 for the year 2020
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all Weld County Commissioners shall be paid
$105,000 for the years 2019 and 2020 with said salary to take effect on the first working day of each
year.
The motion expressed in the above resolution was duly made, seconded, and approved by the
following vote on the 17th day of October 2016.
