Subject: Intent to Award Request for Application (RFA) No. KADA-2019000080, Veterans Service to
Career Grant
Denver Metro — $350,000 awarded
Pikes Peak — $250,000 awarded
Mesa County - $175,000 awarded
Larimer County - $75,000 awarded
Weld County - $75,000 awarded
Background. The grant application noted above closed on November 7, 2018 and applications
were reviewed by an evaluation committee in accordance with the grant evaluation factors. The
evaluation committee has made their final decision to award grants to the applicants who most
effectively demonstrated the ability to meet the goals and requirements of the Veterans Service to
Career Grant, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), Colorado Workforce
Development Programs (WDP), and which conformed to the solicitation, and is most advantageous
to the State of Colorado, CDLE and WDP.
CDLE is pleased to inform you that your response has been recommend to receive an award. The
awarded amount maybe different than your proposal based on clarifications submitted with the
program and available funding and adjustments in scope.
Pursuant to C.R.S. 24-103-203(7) no property interest of any nature should be construed from this
notice. No interest will accrue until the award has been made and the Purchase Order or Notice of
Funding Award Letter is fully executed.
The CDLE Procurement and Contract Services (PCS) office will be working with WDP and your
organization in the near future to negotiate a Notice of Funding Award that is compliant to all the
terms and conditions of the grant and meets the needs of WDP as well as amendable to your
organization.
We appreciate your participation and willingness to provide services in support of our mutual goals,
