SUBJECT: Tandem Axle Dump Truck w/Sander/Plow/Wing Plow,
Bid B1800119
The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the sole bidder, Transwest Truck Trailer
(Kois), for one tandem axle dump truck with sander, plow, and wing plow.
The base price of the tandem axle dump truck is $264,967.00.
Option 2 (Power Float for Plow) and Option 3 (Stainless steel tubing for hydraulics) are included in the base
price. Sander Option 1 (Pre Wet System) and Option 2 (Anti -icing System) are an additional $20,761.00.
The total for one Tandem Axle Dump Truck with sander, plow, and wing plow with Options 2 and 3 and Sander
Options 1 and 2 is $285,728.00.
There is $250,000 budgeted for this purchase.
