RE: AUTHORIZE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ACCEPT SURETY BOND AND
FURTHER AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY TREASURER TO ISSUE A DUPLICATE
TAX SALE CERTIFICATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer, Francis M. Loustalet,
has requested authority to accept a surety bond indemnifying him
againts loss by reason of so doing, and to issue a. duplicate
tax sale certificate No. 670/1975 issued by the Weld County
Treasurer to Dale Hoffman in the amount of One Thousand One
Hundred Five and 91/100 Dollars ($1,105. 91) , dated in 1975, and
which certificate has been lost, misplaced, stolen or destroyed,
and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer has presented such a
Lost Instrument Bond for the Board's approval and acceptance,
and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interests
of the County to authorize the County Treasurer to issue a new
certificate under proper circumstances of indemnification of
both the Weld County Treasurer and Weld County, Colorado, and
as contained in the abovementioned bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Treasurer,
Francis M. Loustalet, be, and hereby is , authorized to issue a
duplicate tax certificate No. 670 /1975 to Dale Hoffman in the
amount of One Thousand One Hundred Five and 91/100 Dollars
($1, 105. 91) , subject to receiving a penal bond in the amount of
Two Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Seven and 82/100 Dollars
($2,527 . 82) hereinabove referred to, being a proper bond and
in the proper amount as complete indemnification of the Weld
County Treasurer and Weld County, Colorado.

I, We, Dale Hoffman , of the County of
Weld , State of Colorado, being first duly and legally
sworn upon oath, depose and say: That I, We, are the identical person(s) to
whom was iscued (or assigned, Tax Certificate Numbered 670 of the 1975
Weld County Tax Sale, covering the 19 74 taxes on:
Lot 20 Block 1 Glens of Dacono Unit #3 Dacono
(Exc Coal & Minerals)
Assignment being made by Weld County
That said (assigned) Certificate has been misplaced, lost or destroyed
and after the most careful and diligent search, I, We, cannot find the same
nor can I, We, produce the same for presentation for a Treasurer's or Tax
Deed for the property covered by this Certificate. That I, We, have not
assigned or disposed of this Certificate to any other person or persons, and
that I, We-, are still the legal owner of said Certificate. That I, We; make
this affidavit for the purpose of inducing the county commissioners of said
Weld County, Colorado, to authorize issuance by the County Treasurer of
said Weld County of a new certificate, upon the condition that I, We, indemnify
said Weld County and the Weld County Treasurer for and on account of said
lost tax sale certificate.

KNOW ALL MEN BY TIIESE PRESENTS, That I, We, Michael R
Sweeten , in the County of Weld and the State of
rolorado , as principal, and Eugene Knuff
of the County of Boulder , and State of Colorado
as Surety, are held and firmly bound unto the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, in the sum of $ 2, 527 . 82 , lawful money of the
United States of America, for the payment of which well and truly to be made,
we bind ourselves, each of us, and our heirs, executors, administrators,
jointly and severally by these presents firmly.
Signed, sealed and dated this 9th day of October , A.D. ,

The condition of this obligation is such that, WHEREAS, a certain Tax
Sales Certificate No. 670 of the 1975 Tax Sale of Weld County, Colorado,
issued and signed by the then Treasurer of Weld County, State of Colorado,
and assigned to Dale Hoffman , for the sum of $ 1, 105.91
the same having been lost, and having established by proof of said loss to the
satisfaction of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
and they have by proper Order entered a record authorizing the issuance of a
duplicate Tax Sale Certificate by the County Treasurer Numbered 670
of the 19 75 Tax Sale with all subsequent endorsements thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, If the said Obligors shall save the County of
Weld and keep harmless the County and all of its officials from all damages,
suits and claims of whatever nature, occasioned by the issuance of said
duplicate Tax Sale Certificate without the surrender of the original, then
