RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING
ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board
will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Juliet Fried be appointed to said Area Agency
on Aging Advisory Board, with a term to expire January 31, 2021, to replace Willis Kulp, who is
term limited, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Katherine Swafford and George Heath be
reappointed to said board, both with terms to expire January 31, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado that Juliet Fried, be, and hereby is, appointed, and that Katherine Swafford and
George Heath, be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, all
with terms to expire January 31, 2021.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of February, A.D., 2018.
