RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND
OF TAXES FOR ACCOUNT NUMBER R0840701 - BANK MIDWEST, N.A.,
COMMUNITY BANKS OF COLORADO, A DIVISION OF NBH BANK, N.A.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a
duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 21st day of May, 2018, at which meeting there
were present the following members: Chair Steve Moreno, and Commissioners Barbara
Kirkmeyer, Sean P. Conway, Julie A. Cozad, and Mike Freeman, and
WHEREAS, notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to
the taxpayer and the Assessor of said County, with said Assessor, Christopher Woodruff, being
represented by Brenda Dones, Assessor's Office, and taxpayer, Bank Midwest, N.A., Community
Banks of Colorado, A Division of NBH Bank, N.A., being represented by Sterling Property Tax
Specialists, Inc., not being present, and
WHEREAS, on May 14, 2018, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to
June 18, 2018, per written request from the taxpayer's representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to June 18, 2018,
at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of May, A.D., 2018.

I spoke with the Assessor's Office, and due to statutory deadlines, we would like to schedule the initial hearing
for Monday, May 14, 2018, in which Staff will ask the Board of County Commissioners to continue the below
hearings to Monday, June 18, 2018, per your request. It would not be necessary to have someone from your
office attend the initial continuance hearing because the petitions themselves will not be discussed.

This is to advise you that at the rescheduled hearing on May 14, 2018, the Weld County Board of
Commissioners continued your petition for abatement or refund of taxes on the property described
as: 1270 Automation Drive, Windsor, Colorado 80550, until June 18, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., per the
request of your tax agent, Sterling Property Tax Specialists, Inc. The meeting will be held in the
Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, Weld County
Administration Building, 1150 O Street, Assembly Room, Greeley, Colorado 80631.
The Assessor is recommending that the Board approve your petition. You are not required to be
present at this hearing; however, this is your opportunity to have your position heard, particularly
if your position is opposed to the Assessor's recommendation. If you intend to submit any
documentation in support of your position for this hearing, all such documentation must be
submitted to the Office of the Clerk to the Board and to the Weld County Assessor's Office at least
seven calendar days prior to the meeting date in order for it to be considered at the scheduled
hearing.
