Home My WebLink About20194197.tiff RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO SEPTEMBER 23, 2019 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Administration Building, Greeley, Colorado, September 23, 2019, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. el ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer, Chair Commissioner Mike Freeman, Pro-Tem Commissioner Sean P. Conway Commissioner Scott K. James Commissioner Steve Moreno Also present: County Attorney, Bruce Barker Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Controller, Barbara Connolly MINUTES: Commissioner Conway moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting of August 26, 2019, as printed. Commissioner Moreno seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. INFORMATIONAL: In response to Commissioner Conway, Tom Teixeira, Director of the Greeley- Weld County Housing Authority, stated residents in the Hill-N-Park Subdivision who own their mobile home and the land are eligible for loans of up to $25,000 and three percent (3%) interest to assist with maintaining their property. He stated the Housing Authority intends to continue offering this assistance to any resident who is below 80% of the median income.
