RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER SCOTT K. JAMES TO HUMAN
SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Scott K. James be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the Human Services Advisory Commission,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner James to said board,
with a term to expire December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner James be, and hereby is, appointed to the Human Services
Advisory Commission, with a term to expire December 31, 2019.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of January, A.D., 2019, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2019.
