Dear Municode client,
Thank you for allowing us the privilege to serve as your codifier. As you know, we strive to deliver outstanding service at a
fair price. Over the past several years, the increased cost of providing a highly available, feature rich, secure platform has
risen to a point where we feel it prudent to pass on a small portion thereof. We know how important it is for you and your
citizens to understand the "why" behind changes such as this. Below, is a brief summary that outlines just a few of the
enhancements and improvements that have been and will be enabled by the first Code on the Internet price increase in
approximately 8 years.

Microsoft Azure
We take uptime and security serious/y and are moving the entire MunicodeNEXT application to Microsoft's Azure
Government Cloud this year. Microsoft Government Cloud customers receive a physically isolated instance of Microsoft
Azure that employs world -class security and compliance services critical to the U.S. government for all systems and
applications built on its architecture.
ADA Compliance and Feature Enhancements
As you know, we continue to invest in the MunicodeNEXT platform. We have a robust team of full-time, experienced
developers dedicated 100% to this application. These developers are devoted to feature development and work daily to
enhance your platform for the benefit of your citizens and your staff.
Recent enhancements to the platform include:
• ADA Compliance - We audited our application and made improvements to meet Level AA of the WCAG 2.1
guidelines.
• Enhanced Functionality - We enhanced the functionality of our link emailing feature to allow for multiple recipients,
cc: addresses and an editable subject line.
• MuniDocs - We recently introduced MuniDocs, a solution to easily upload documents that are instantly viewable and
searchable alongside your online code. For a free trial, email us a info@municode.com.
Enhancements to come:
• Allow document actions (print/save/email) to be executed in bulk from the search results page.
• Add a feature to print the outline of the entire Table of Contents (all headings, no content).
• Expose a date range filter on the search results page for ordinances and MuniDocs.
• Allow eNotib) users to narrow their desired notification scope by using the Table of Contents.
• Fully populated synonym search keyword list.
In order to cover the cost of these advances and to ensure that we can continue developing industry leading web products,
the cost of your annual internet subscription will increase by $95 with your next annual invoice in 2020.
