RE: AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL PURCHASING TO ASSUME
CERTAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF THE COUNTY FINANCE\
OFFICER.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , it has come to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that due to an
unfortunate illness , the County Finance Officer is presently
unable to perform his normal duties and responsibilities , and
WHEREAS , it is necessary that these duties and responsi-
bilities be fulfilled, and
WHEREAS , it would be appropriate for the Director of
Central Purchasing to perform these duties and responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Director of
Central Purchasing, Bette R. Rhoden, be, and hereby is authorized
to sign vouchers, purchase orders, employee change memos and
other items normally signed by the County Finance Officer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall remain
in effect until the County Finance Officer is once again able
to assume the duties and responsibilities of his office.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
March, A.D. , 1977 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 23rdday of March, A.D. , 1977 .
