HomeMy WebLinkAbout20194824.tiffM 1���' „'I��p �zV•.. y.A\'' ���. �V��VVVuuu I�fl 1^���p 'l 111 .�.,�w•y�3�•�•. 111\11111 . �INN 111 M\ .�� :=: �'=:°���► �'=•��` •_+ ►���� FRONTIER ACADEMY WOLVERINES DAY Wednesday, November 20, 2019 WHEREAS, the Frontier Academy Wolverines boys cross country team competed in the Class 3A Cross Country State Championship on October 26th at the Norris — Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs; and WHEREAS, out of 155 total entrants in the 5K event, Frontier Academy had two top 10 finishers: junior Sylas Chambers and senior Jaden Davis who posted finishing times of 17 minutes 04.3 seconds and 17 minutes 04.5 seconds respectively; and WHEREAS, freshman Abuzaid Fanning finished 18th, senior Christian Baca finished 22nd, junior Justin Quammen finished 31st, senior Cory Shea finished 37th and sophomore Sebastian Groom finished 55th. Those performances propelled the Wolverines to a first -place finish and their first cross country state championship since 2013.
