Dear Mr. Adams:
The Board of County Commissioners received your letter of
September 5th requesting use of gravel from the county's
pit for upgrading Crow Valley Park.
The Board agrees to release 1650 tons of 1" gravel to the
Pawnee National Grasslands for this project. We believe
this will be a fair trade for the materials the county has
removed from the government pit located between Grover and
Rockport. We also understand the convenience and cost
savings gained by using gravel from a pit located in close
proximity to the project.
Please consider this letter as authorization to proceed.
Sincerely,
Ed Dunbar, Chairman
Board of Weld County Commissioners
