RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REASSIGNMENTS TO WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Sam Gluck to said Workforce Development Board as the Agricultural and Electrician Business
representative, and to appoint Kyle Majchrowski as the Construction Business representative,
both with terms to expire December 31, 2021, and to appoint Elizabeth Barber as the Youth
Education Employment representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reassign
Jeff Sloan to Retail Business representativeNeterans, with a term date to expire December 31,
2021 and to reassign Geoff Herrig to the Labor Organizations representative, with a term date to
expire December 31, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Sam Gluck, Kyle Majchrowski, and Elizabeth Barber, be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Workforce Development Board, with terms to expire as stated above and that
Jeff Sloan and Geoff Herrig, be and hereby are, reassigned to different position titles on the
Workforce Development Board, with their respective terms to expire as described above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of May, A.D., 2019.
