There is a Tap agreement for this property (#3268), which allots 150,000 gal/year. The
property is being designed for a 4 Bedroom Residence, 134,000 gal/year, plus a
maintenance shop for a small trucking company.
In the beginning there will only be 6 Trucks and 12 Drivers. Following Weld
County Code Chapter 30-Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS), for a 4 -
bedroom house @367.5 gal//day average and 12 drivers at 5 gal/day this will averages
out to be about 156,038 gal/year.
At full capacity with a 4 -bedroom house @367.5 gal//day average and 20 Drivers
@5 gal/day this will average out to be about 170,637.5 gal/year.
This is an estimation of yearly water usage based on Weld County Code Chapter
30-Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) and does not include and landscaping
usage. Landscaping is being discussed as using Zero scaping or extremely drought
tolerant materials such as native prairie grasses and drought tolerant plantings.
