RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County has acquired, and is the owner of the
following described real property, duly recorded in the records
of the County Clerk and Recorder of the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, as follows, to-wit:

WHEREAS, said property has been duly advertised for sale
in the Platteville Herald, Greeley Tribune , and Longmont Times-
Call on May 10, 1979 and May 31, 1979. Said property has been
duly offered for sale at a public meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners on the 13th day of June, 1979, in the Chambers of
the Board, and
WHEREAS, Robert V. Frank, P. O. Box 242 , Kersey, Colorado,
bid One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1500. 00) as the purchase
price for said property and being the highest and best bidder,
said property was sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Norman Carlson, Chair-
man of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
be, and hereby is, constituted and appointed and ordered to
convey, without covenants of warranty, Robert V. Frank, the
aforementioned property, as abovedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as to such conveyance, Norman
Carlson is authorized to affix the seal of Weld County and said
conveyance shall have the effect to transfer to Robert V. Frank
all right and interest which Weld County has in and to the

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
June, A.D. , 1979.

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 7, 1979, duly
published May 10, 1979 and May 31, 1979 in the Platteville Herald,
Greeley Tribune, and Longmont Times Call, a public hearing was held
to offer for sale certain parcels of property acquired by Treasurer
Deeds. The Chairman opened all sealed bids.
Range 56 Township 8 Section 8 NWT Undivided 1/16 interest and
Range 56 Township 8 Section 8 NWT Undivided 1/16 interest
Commissioner Roe made a motion to accept two bids submitted by
James E. Jones for $101.00 each on the above parcels. Commissioner Kirby
seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

Commissioner Roe made a motion to accept the bid submitted by
Robert Frank, totaling $1500.00. Commissioner Kirby seconded the motion
and it carried unanimously.
DACONO - Glens of Dacono Unit #3 _ Block 4 Lot 10 (except Coal & Minerals)
Commissioner Roe made a motion to accept the bid submitted by
Robert Frank, totaling $1500.00. Commissioner Steinmark seconded the
bid and it carried unanimously.
HUDSON - Block 75 100' strip R/W Lots 1 to 6
No bids were received.
PIERCE - 1st Addition - Block 7 Lot 8
A bid totaling $125.00, submitted by Robert Frank, was considered.
Commissioner Steinmark made a motion not to accept said bid on this parcel
because the amount was too low compared to the County Assessor's value placed
on said property and further authorized the Clerk to the Board to readvertise
said parcel in the next public sale notice. Commissioner Roe seconded the
motion and it carried unanimously.
STONEHAM - Block 2 Lot 14
Commissioner Steinmark made a motion to accept the only bid
submitted, totaling $51.00, by James E. Jones. Commissioner Roe seconded
the motion and it carried unanimously.
