No. 11 Mary Ann Feuerstein, Recorder WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 4, 1975, in the chambers of the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, for the purpose of hearing a petition of Eastman Kodak Com- pany, c/o J. C. Turk, Agent, Windsor, Colorado, requesting a change of zone from "A" Agricultural District to "5" Scientific District, and WHEREAS, the petitioner was present, being represented by Mr. Jim Mueller, Senior Surveyor for said petitioner, and WHEREAS, there was no opposition to the change of zone, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all the testimony and statements of those present, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the request of petitioner and studied the recommendations of the Weld County Planning Commission as submitted, and having been fully informed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, that the petition of Eastman Kodak Company, c/o J. C. Turk, Agent, Windsor, Colorado, for a change of zone from "A" Agricultural District to "S" Scientific District, said area being more particularly de- scribed as follows: A tract of land being a part of Section 33, Township 6 North, Range 67 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the South Quarter Corner (S4 Cor) of the aforementioned Section 33, and considering the South line of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of said Section 33 as bearing S 89°21'11" W, and with all bearings herein relative thereto; thence N 7°38'42" W, a distance of 100. 00 feet to a point, said point being the True Point of Beginning; thence N 14°32'15" W, a distance of 2, 662. 34 feet to a point on the North line of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of the aforementioned Section 33; thence N 89°03'23" E, along said North line of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section 33, a distance of 205. 76 feet to a point; thence S 14°32'15" E, a distance of 959. 44 feet to a point on the West line of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of said Section 33; thence S 7°38'42" E, along said West line of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section 33, a distance of 1, 666. 60 feet to a point, said point being the True Point of Beginning. The above described parcel contains 8. 3 acres more or less and is subject to all Easements, Rights-of-Way and Agreements now on record, and is hereby granted under the conditions following: 1. That any water and sanitation facilities to be installed shall be 750017 �Z .A approved by the State Health Department. 2. Straub mfm M• _I 1 _) . \/. r J 1--n\ 7 -otiC - � � -� n1 August 11 , 1975 Weld County Planning Commission 1516 Hospital Road Greeley , CO 80631 Gentlemen: Subject: Rezoning Applications On May 5 , 1975 , the Eastman Kodak Company acquired title to a triangular parcel adjacent to our southern boundary (Exhibit A) . As a result we now have an inconsistent zoning pattern in this area. The original zoning for the Kodak site established a "Scientific Zone" along the property to act as a buffer between the industrial site and the surrounding agricul- tural areas . The acquisition of this triangular parcel now places a portion of the Scientific Zone inside the property so that it is no longer contiguous to the property line. We therefore request a zoning change as indicated on the enclosed forms . This rezoning will comply with the origi- nal zoning pattern for the Kodak site as established by the Board of County Commissioners on April 26 , 1972 .
