We were turned in to the county for a couple of violations. When Bethany came out she discovered we
were over our 4% usage rule. Every property in Aristrocrat can not have more structures that exceed
4%. We didn't know about the 4% rule and neither did the prior owners. The first offense was running a
business out of the house and this is not true. (Neighbors speak of their encounters regarding this rule).
We do not run a business out of our house. Our son's truck was parked outside of the house for a while
for his Dad to work on it. It sat there for so long because Chris couldn't work on it due to health
reasons. The second offense of occupant living in a motor home and it is no longer there. We are down
to our 4% violation which is why we are here. I do exceed that. In order to go through all the county
questions, answers and diagrams the first thing we have to do is hold this meeting for anyone who is
within 500' of our property. We have to send in a copy of the letter of the property owners we sent to
and a summary of the meeting and a copy of the sign in sheet. We do have on our property,( I forgot to
print out the drawing) a lean too, shop in the back, 20' Conex , 3 shed's, 3 car ports we just bought.
With the last hail storm we placed instead of repaired what we had already worn down that was already
on the property when we purchased it. We replaced with metal. The whole intent purpose of this
meeting is if anyone has questions to ask or if you have objections speak up.
Q: Wayne Marrow — What is the purpose of the over the road trailer?
A: Deb — We have it for personal storage.
Wayne — Personal?
Deb — If it's ours it's still there if anything was my son's it's gone. We are applying for a permit
for the trailer. That is part of this process.
Wayne — Is there a limit of time that will be there?
Chris — As long as we're using it.
Doris —Talked about another property that has all the trailers attached to each other but it's ok
because they only have one kitchen
Wayne — With the 4% rule what is going to happen with all the out buildings?
Deb — We're doing this so we can keep them and exceed the 4%. We have to submit a 24" x 36"
of everything, including measurements, you have now and anything you might want to put in
the future.
Doris — We've been in Aristocrat since the 70's. I can't tell you how many meetings we used to
have with everyone wanting their properties a certain way and the meetings were just people
arguing. Especially with all the older guys.
Deb — That's why, I think, that Weld county does it this way. We sent out letters with the list of
names we had within 500' of us.
Wayne — We made the complaint, what about the stuff lying on the ground?
Deb- Most has already been cleaned up. But we will get the rest done very soon. With Chris's
health and my knee surgery it is taking us a little longer. We both are moving slow.
Brenda — Personally I don't care if someone is living on your property.
Wayne — You have to put together a drawing that shows the structures?
Deb — Yes
Brenda —The property looks better with the buildings.
Wayne — It's my understanding that you can have one of the over the road trailers on your
property? Can you have more?
Deb — I don't know that answer.
Wayne to Joe, you had two of those.
Joe - No I had cargo containers. You can have one cargo container (Konex) per property.
Wayne/Deb — Discuss code number. Code number in letter was off from the actual code being
discussed.
Deb — shows Wayne the letter with the correct code.
Wayne — When we've gotten similar things we got a post card from the county and the county
had a hearing.
Deb — I believe that is one of the next steps. They will also post something on my fence. The
county takes over once I get my application complete. This is the first step. We still have two or
three meetings after this that you can come too if you want.

There was no complaints or disapproval on the number of buildings in questions.

I am sending this letter to inform you of a meeting at the Fort Lupton Library on
March 20,2019 at 5:30PM . This meeting is to inform you that we are in the
process of getting our structures approved on our property. This process will let
us be within the Weld County Code Sec 22-2-20. Our intent is to keep our
personal property in closed buildings. If you wish to discuss anything about our
property or intentions, please attend the meeting.
