RESOLUTION
RE : POLICY REGARDING AGREEMENTS, MEMORANDUM AGREEMENTS AND
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS EFFECTING WELD COUNTY, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado deems it to be in the best interest of Weld County,
Colorado to adopt a policy that all agreements, memorandum agree-
ments and contractual agreements, whether of monitary value or
not, which bind the County to certain action, be reduced to
writing and entered into the official record at a regular meeting
of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
and that all such matters be included on agendas of the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that henceforth, all
agreements , memorandum agreements and contractual agreements ,
whether of monitary value or not, which bind the County to certain
action, be reduced to writing and be entered into the official
record by action of the Board of County Commissioners at a
regular meeting of said Board and that all said matters be first
presented to the Clerk to the Board to be included on official
agendas of the meetings of the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
March A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 16thday of March, A.D. , 1977.

TO: Elected Officials and Department Heads DATE: March 11, 1977
FROM: Board of Weld County Commissioners n_
SUBJECT: County Agreements
The Board of Commissioners wishes that all agreements, memorandum
agreements, and contractual agreements, whether of monitory value
or not, which bind the County to certain action, be entered into
the official record.
Therefore, all such matters shall be taken to the Clerk to the
Board to be included on Board agendas and to be entered into
the official record of business of Weld County.
