RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF TERMS AND FEES FOR MINERAL LEASING.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on February 1, 1978 , the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado adopted certain mineral leasing
procedures for oil , gas, coal, uranium and other minerals, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the Board of County
Commissioners establish certain terms and fees in regard to the
mineral leasing procedures, and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Board of County
Commissioners deems it to be in the best interest of Weld County
to establish the following:
1. To set the term of all leases for five (5) years.
2. To set the annual delay rental per acre at One Dollar
($1. 00) .
3. To set an application fee of Ten Dollars ($10. 00) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned terms
and fees for mineral leases, be and hereby are, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of
May, A.D. , 1978.
