WHEREAS , heretofore and on June 25 , 1975 , an
oil and gas lease was executed by Weld County, Colorado,
draft #5091 in the amount of Eleven Thousand Four Hundred
Seventy-Three Dollars and Eighty-Six Cents ($11 , 473 . 86)
was received representing the first year payment, said
draft deposited in the County General Fund, and
WHEREAS , a correction was made in the property
to be leased, and.
WHEREAS , an amended oil and gas lease has been
presented to the Board, omitting Township 8 North, Range
60 West, Sections 20 , 25, and 3O, and Township 5 North,
Range 61 West, Section 24 and adding Township 5 North,
Range 62 West Section 14 , Township 8 North, Range 62 West,
Section 19, Township 11 North, Range 61 West, Section 28 ,
and
WHEREAS , it has been recommended that the sun of
One hundred fifty one and 23/100 Dollars ($151 . 23) , representing
the overpayment for the deleted parcels, be refunded to
Charter Exploration and Production Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld
County Treasurer, Francis M. Loustalet, be, and he hereby
is authorized to refund from the County General Fund to
Charter Exploration and Production Company to sum of One
hundred fifty one and 23/100 Dollars ($151. 23) , representing
the amount for the deleted parcels in said lease .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on
the 22nd day of October 1975 .

Dear Mr. Walter:
Enclosed you will find our check #4566 in the amount of
$151 . 23 . This is the refund on the oil and gas lease dated
August 25, 1975 as suggested in your letter of the same date .
We are also returning to you the oil and gas lease, as
well as a copy of the release , both which we have recorded .
A copy has been retained for our files .
Hopefully, this concludes the paperwork on this lease .

Dear Mr. Telep:
I have summarized the changes to our original Oil and Gas Lease that
we have agreed to over the telephone.
We have omitted the following acreage:

We have submitted one draft for $11 ,473.86 which has been collected
by the County and one draft for $960.00 which is uncollected.
Coordinating County acreage figures , with mine, I have determined
that the new lease net and gross acreage should be 3,774.21 . The
bonus consideration should be $11 ,322.63, computed on the basis of
$3.00 per acre (net) . It is my suggestion that we be refunded
$151 .23 from the first payment and the second draft should be voided.
